ABOUT US
CLUB POLICIES

The City of Canterbury Model Railway Society is made up of a small group of modellers with wide interests and skills ranging from Garden Railways to Hornby Dublo to 2mm Finescale.

We have members who enjoy running proprietary models straight out of the box, some who kit build and bash and some who have an interest in scratch building. The British scene, both modern and period predominates but American and Continental railways also have their afficianardos.

The club has a N Gauge and two OO gauge exhibition layouts and we are building a new N gauge layout. Several members also have exhibition layouts and details about these are on our Layouts page.

We meet every Monday evening between 7.00pm and 9.30pm at our clubroom in Nonington, about 5 miles east of Canterbury. Prospective new members are always welcome. Feel free to email us or make contact with any of the members listed on our Contacts page if you want any more information about the Society.

The City of Canterbury MRS has been in existence in its present form since 1988. In that year some members of the original Society that formerly met in the old Canterbury West station building until the roof fell in, decided to reform the Society.
